Refreshing Spring Break at Sun State Riding Academy

As the sun starts to warm the earth and the flowers begin to bloom, it's time for a well-deserved break at Sun State Riding Academy! From March 11th to the 17th, our lesson horses and dedicated instructors will take a week-long respite to recharge and rejuvenate for the coming season.

At Sun State Riding Academy, we understand the importance of maintaining the health and well-being of our beloved horses. Our Spring Break aligns with school breaks, ensuring that our riders can plan ahead and participate fully in this rejuvenating period for our equine companions.

During this time, our lesson horses will enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation, with a focus on ground activities to keep them engaged and happy. It's not just about physical rest but also mental rejuvenation for our four-legged friends.

Moreover, our Spring Break offers an opportunity for the entire Sun State community to come together and contribute. Volunteers are warmly welcomed to assist with barn chores from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Whether it's mucking out stalls, tidying up the tack room, or tending to the grounds, every pair of hands makes a difference in keeping our barn in top shape.

It's important to note that at Sun State Riding Academy, barn chores are a daily commitment, regardless of whether lessons are taking place. This dedication to maintenance ensures that our facilities remain clean, safe, and inviting for both our horses and riders.

As we look ahead, it's worth noting that breaks are scheduled throughout the year to maintain this balance of rest and activity. Our upcoming breaks after the Spring Break in March are slated for July, October, and December. We encourage all our riders to mark these dates on their calendars and plan accordingly.

In essence, Spring Break at Sun State Riding Academy isn't just about downtime; it's about fostering a sense of community, caring for our horses, and ensuring that our facilities remain top-notch for all who visit. We look forward to seeing our volunteers and riders come together during this special time, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back for another exciting season of riding adventures!

If you're interested in volunteering or have any questions about our Spring Break activities, don't hesitate to reach out to us. Let's make this Spring Break one to remember at Sun State Riding Academy!
