At Sun State Riding Academy, our primary objective has always been consistent: to create a welcoming haven for riders at every level, from beginners taking their initial steps in the saddle to those aspiring to master Dressage or Hunter/Jumper skills. Danielle Cox
Owner
Danielle's equestrian journey began at the age of 13, working at a barn, and quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Equine Science from Colorado State University. As the Owner of the previously named Future Hope Equestrian, now rebranded as Sun State Riding Academy, Danielle is dedicated to excellence in the equestrian arena.
A partner at Future Hope Equestrian, Danielle delved into the Arabian circuit, specializing in Hunter Pleasure, Western Pleasure, and Sport Horse Under Saddle. Her commitment to continuous improvement is evident through achievements like the USDF Bronze Medal with her companion Alessandro.
Trained by Canadian Olympian Gina Smith, Danielle excels in Classical Dressage, jumping, low-level eventing, and Western Dressage. Beyond her competitive success, she specializes in coaching intermediate and advanced students, guiding them to Regional Championships and National Qualifications. Danielle's unwavering passion for the equestrian world shines through in her coaching and personal pursuits.
Robinne Zeliznat
Owner
Robinne is a versatile professional who transitioned from the realms of academia and technology to pursue her lifelong passion for horses and business. Boasting a rich background in sociology and organizational dynamics, she honed her expertise during her tenure as an assistant professor at Pima Community College.
In 2018, Robinne redirected her focus entirely to the equestrian world. As the proud owner of Initial Impression and Pebbles, she became an integral part of Sun State Riding Academy, formerly known as Future Hope Equestrian (FHE). In 2019, Robinne continued her journey by contributing as a partner at Sun State Riding Academy, where she utilizes her extensive experience to oversee community engagement and skillfully coordinate events. Her unwavering dedication and passion for equine care, training, and competition remain steadfast, driving her endeavors in both the business and horse barn arena.
